About the Cotswold Pavilion
The place to relax, re-charge and restore Your Joie de Vive
The Pavilion was originally a writer's retreat and this is evident in its quiet and peaceful setting. With all of the living and sleeping area in one long 30 foot space, complete with vaulted and beamed ceilings, this is a perfect retreat for romantic couples wanting to get away from it all.
This sunny studio accommodation has generous proportions and is beautifully interior-designed with restful, soothing tones throughout. The first thing you'll notice is that despite being on the edge of a lovely Cotswold village, the property feels wonderfully safe, yet isolated, immersed in nature with panoramic views across farmland and forest.
French windows run the length of the property letting in plenty of light and creating a cheerful, calm setting in which to unwind and get back to nature. Everything has been finished to a very high standard with a cute corner kitchen equipped with everything you could need to prepare a romantic meal. There's a small Parisian style round table with wrought iron chairs and two comfy armchairs facing either the lovely rolling fields outside or the Smart TV, depending on your mood.
A wood burner faces the seating area and the big cosy king-sized bed, so if its a chilly evening or you just fancy the sound of crackling logs, light it up and snuggle under the duvet with a mug of hot chocolate.
There is a separate tiled shower room with heated towel rails and a large farm style sink, perfect for a long hot shower before enjoying your morning coffee on the veranda with the stunning views of the rolling Cotswold countryside to keep you company.
The outside area is particularly lovely with a large wooden table for dining al fresco, a charcoal BBQ and deluxe sun loungers on the lawned garden where you can doze in the shade of the parasol or read that book you've been meaning to get to. Just add a glass of something delicious and the picture is complete.

Reviews from our delighted guests
"Wonderfully peaceful surroundings."
We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our week in the lovely Pavilion in such wonderfully peaceful surroundings. The wild deer welcomed us upon our arrival and then we saw her again..with her baby fawn…the night before we left. Thank you so much!

Fabulous accommodation surrounded by beautiful countryside views. Made good use of the BBQ provided, making the most of the outdoor furniture. A perfect way to spend our 10th wedding anniversary. Thank you!

"Choice spot."
We loved the ever-changing view. Hardly needed to go anywhere. The village church is well worth a visit, and tucked behind it is a remarkable monument to Sir Benjamin Baker, designer of the Forth Railway Bridge. Who would have thought it? Choice spot altogether.

"Wonderful few days."
What a wonderful few days. We were so lucky with the weather so could relish the glorious views and the bluebell woods on our way back from walking to Bledington are quite the most beautiful I have ever seen.
